is there such a thing as a saltwater shark..that can be put in a 55 gal tank?i know this is a crazy question but i had to ask you guys"the pro's" thanks everyone

Actually it is done. But the fish don't live very long. Many lfs sell babies, and they are only about 6-12 inches long. People don't realize they will reach 2-3 feet in about a year or so. This is the smaller of the sharks. There are many sharks that can be kept in the home aquarium, but IMO the smallest tanks for some of these sharks is min 300 gals. They are even breeding them in home aquariums.
