An easy way to get more light into your tank (if you use fluorescent tubes) is to install reflectors on the tubes. I use them myself and they help a lot! |

It uses a sugar/yeast/baking soda mix which will need replacing every 3 weeks, give or take (it varies). Hagen sells replacement yeast/baking soda (they call the baking soda "stabilizer" or something like that). It's a lot cheaper to just buy the yeast and baking soda at the store, and recharge your reactor that way. |
