I want to get a new light for my 30 gallon. Going to just put on a glass lid and was looking into the dual tube fluorescent fixture. Curious as to what size I should get.

The plants I have are some swords, wisteria, java ferns and java moss. I don't really plan on adding anything fancy plant wise. i like the wisteria as I can plant it or float it and it seems to grow fairly easily.

I would like to spend only about $50 and was wondering if there is anything at big als you might recommend.

thanks,

Have you had a chance to look at [link=This One from All-Glass]http://www.bigalsonline.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=23835;category_id=1853;pcid1=1843;pcid2=" style="COLOR: #ff6633[/link] as posted at Big Al's?

It should have 2x20w and will serve well for low light plants. Make sure that the glass top you have is wide enough to fit a double strip light though. Given your tank length, are you sure you have a 30G, or is it a 29G? If 29G then I know that All-Glass also sells the glas top specific for double strip lights.

Hope this helps,
