And it would be nice if you gave my the common names of these, plants lol. |

Since a 3 gallon will need weekly 100% water changes I'd suggest keeping with the more hardy plants. Java fern tied to driftwood would be good since bettas just love laying about on plants. Maybe some water wisteria as well if the light is above 2wpg, and red temple plant.
