I was wondering...if its ok to plant corkscrew val (Vallisneria americana) in bunchs instead of planting them in single plants in the gravel. Most plants are planted in bunches, but I havent planted Val or any of its family members in bunchs.

Regards,
Mango

i've had a little success planting them in 2's, but never in a bunch like hornwort, anacharis, etc. don't worry, once they get going you'll have a "bunch" in no time

ive mine planted in close proximity to one another but not in bunches. the thing to watch is that the plants dont strangle each others root system.
