RNJ_Punk Big Fish Cory Fanatic Posts: 395 Kudos: 114 Votes: 137 Registered: 12-Nov-2006 | Ok so the time has come for a little change with the aquarium. It doesnt have much fish and the design was boring me. So Im gonna switch it up a little. Since I will be adding all the new plants and fish next weekend I went ahead and uprooted the plants(letting them float till next week)that way I can just replant the plants along. with the new ones in the scape I want. As for the scape: I already have a large peice of DW and I am planning on getting another. I Im going to put both on either ends of the tank(covered in java fern, bolbitis, and anubias) and in the middle of the tank put in some sort of foreground groundcover. Onto the new fish additions: -I am going to look for a female bolivian ram for my male. But if Im not sure its female Im not going to get one. -One male blue ram for my female. -3 yoyo loaches. I like them and they will eat my snails. -3 honey gouramis. -Angelfish, not sure how many yet. -and maybe 8 more ember tetras for my school that has decreased. Current fish: 1 female blue ram 1 male bolivian ram pair of blue spot gouramis 16 panda cories 2 kuhli loaches 7 ottos 4 ember tetras 2 whiptail cats Current plants: pennywort javafern bolbitis wisteria crypt rotala anubias nana anubias barteri I may give little updates from now until I get all the new stuff. Just let me know what suggestions you have and what not. I will be posting pics through the week too. Thanks |

If you are set on having only one pair in your tank you can always give the surplus that is not paired off to another hobbyist or back to the store. |

Sounds good, only I would be afraid I wouldnt be able to find a home for the extras. I only want 2. Thanks for the advice though. Wow my pictures are bad. Sorry folks. |

However what are you going to do with your left over plants?? If you have some spare pennywort, Rotal and Barteri I would gladly take those off your hands and pay for them. So let me know about the cuttings. I am also redesigning my tanks right now also. Shne Thanks for your input as always, Shane http://thetanklog.blogspot.com/ - [ Thanks to ScottF ] http://www.natureaquariumclubofutah.com/main.html |
