Gray roundish ob Brown material, I can only guess. As you don't mention that this material moves, I have to assume that it doesn't. This means to me that it most likely is some form of algae attached to the leaves. Can you describe it further? Some plants can be dipped into a bleach or Flourish Excel solution to kill of snails/algae. Neither nor would I suggest as a solution for your plants, as Anacharis (Egeria) is a rather sensitive plant towards such treatments. All you can do is rinse it off in flowing water and try to scrub off (with your fingers) as much of the gray/brown parts as possible. If there is one stem on which this should not succeed then you could still go ahead and dispose it. Hope this helps, Ingo |
