I have Eco-Complete for planted aquariums and they get a lot of crisp white roots. For fertilizer, they dont seem to need to much, maybee a dosing of iron a few times a week. |

It is a floating plant (that many folks [myself included] stick in the substrate). Some of mine occasionally grow a thin, whitish shoot that seems analogous to a root, but I don't think it truly is. |
