I read that if you were to cut off a portion of the adult moss ball(which is really a large clump of algae) and tie it to a rock or piece of driftwood, it would slowly, but eventually grab hold of the thing it is growing on and spread all over it. Is this true? has anyone ever tried this before? If you have tried this, how long would it take? |

I'm not sure if it will carpet, although I think I have heard of people doing something of that sort. In any case, moss balls are very slow growers so it'll take a while to do anything with it. They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces. |
