Plants produce oxygen during the day. Usually not visibly. Sometimes if a leaf is damaged or has a little nick in it you can see the oxygen bubbles stream out. In bright light tanks with Co2 injection where plants are photosynthesising (sp?) strongly the oxygen can be visible as small bubbles cling to the leaf. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |
