I'd like to do some research about starting a planted aquarium. Can anyone recommend a good book for beginners?

The internet is my favorite book for researching plants. Hey, i think you already have it. The internet is the easiest and most fast way to retrieve info on anything. I have not really came across that good of a book. Probably because i have seen none around my area. GOOD LUCK!!!

The best book for planted tanks is The Ecology of the Planted Aquarium, by Diana Walstad. Mind you, this isn't a coffee table picture book. Her method is for low light "natural" tanks but the information is applicable to all planted tanks. It is now available through Walmart.com and Amazon.com.
