	Borneo Fern
betahex Fish Addict Posts: 864 Kudos: 352 Votes: 0 Registered: 11-Jul-2001	i recently purchased a Borneo Fern and was wondering what the best method of planting the plant would be. is it like other ferns in that it'd prefer to be anchored onto rocks and wood? or should i plant it into the gravel?

bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004	Trichomanes javanicum - Borneo Fern. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is not a true aquatic plant. It's a terranium plant. It will not survive underwater. It will eventually rot and die. Did you buy it in one of those fancy new tubes with the gel ? Useless. Most of them are not suited for aquariums. Personaaly I would get rid of it. It will die and foul your water. Sorry. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.
