As some of you know I just got my real CO2 system up and running. My question is how many bubbles per second am I going to want to run for starters?

It'll take a few hours to get it right. est to start up at a time when you are around to monitor.

I assume you have a target pH to hit to get your desired level of Co2.

Start at 1bps leave for a couple of hours and see what it brings pH to. Increase steadily, monitor evry couple of hours. You'll eventually hit your target pH. What the final bps will be is dependent on a number of factors.
When you hit the sweet spot leave it be and try not to touch the needle valve again unless you have too.

Watch the fish for signs of stress.

Thereafter just monitor pH about once a week to make sure you're staying where you want to be.

Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.

Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.
