If you have enough flourescent light in there, they should survive, and may even grow.. I'm concerned though about the temp difference between the pond, and your tank.. Is there much of a difference ? If so, I wonder if you can somehow acclimate the plants slowly to the difference in temp ? A bucket with some gravel (and maybe some fert tabs in the gravel) and a flourescent lamp (can fit a compact flourescent bulb into a 'normal' light fitting easily) might also work.
