has anyone any good ideas for front of tank carpeting plant IE something that only grows approx 1/2 in height as i have just received an order which was supposed to be pygmy chain sword but i have ended up with Lilaeopsis brasiliensis which looks like a kind of vallis and it is already 3" in height( and it was nearly three weeks late)

thanks
papasan.

I personally like the elatine triandra in my tank. It grows rather easy for me and it quite easy to trim.

That's a beautiful tank !

Funny, I was going to suggest Brazilian Micro Swords but you already have them

Fissidens fontanus would be another thing to try

Edit - what's are those plants behind and to the left ?

The Amazon Nut...

The back left plant is Blyxa japonica. Grows great down here in North Catalina in soft water compared to Michigan with hard water. They pretty much died off in MI.
