can someone please tell me the names of some plants that would occur naturally in the waters of central america. I am looking to get a few in my CA cichlid tank. thanks for any and all replies.

Hi,

-Any kind of Echinodorus
-Cabomba (but i don't thik it will last in a cichlid tank)
-Alternanthera Reineckii
-Spadeleaf Plant Scientific Name Gymnocoronis Spilanthoides
-Miriophyllum Aquaticum

Most of them need hight light though, i'm not sure what your light lever is, but you can check www.tropica.com for more species.
