![]() | DO Riccia Anchor itself? |

I have a cloth made mesh I wanted to use but I am afraid of it deteriating and making all the riccia all float to the top. |

As to how to anchor them down, it mainly depends how you want to use it. If you're going to use it on a driftwood or any other ob If you want to use it as lawn on the gravel you would either have to tie it to a piece of slate, or use a plastic mesh. You can look at this website to see how it's done, although I never used it for a lawn effect. As for maintenance, you will have to mow the riccia lawn periodically (every week or two under good growth) so the lower parts still get light or they will rot and unattach themselves from whatever it is it's tied to and the whole thing will float. Other than that it's a fairly undemanding plant. Hope this helps. Last edited by untitled at 24-Jul-2005 07:59 |
