![]() | Do you use any "nonaquatic" plants in your planted tank? |

Most of the aquatic plants I come across are small. I have seen some big ones but they are expensive. I have been wanting to just get some regular plants from walmart or homedepot but I just want to know if anyone has done this and how it went. What plants should I use? |

Its semi-aquatic, being planted in a semi-aquatic way (ie leaves out of the water) aquatic plants are specialised - they can handle the lower CO2 levels in the environment. Putting non aquatic plants submerged in a tank will do nothing but kill the plants. |
