Here is a list of my live plants:

1 Anubias 'Nana' (divided into 3 seperate plants)
1 Hygrophila Polysperma (divided into 2 seperate)
2 Anacharis (propagated 2 more small)
1 Corkscrew Vallisneria
1 Hornwort or Cabomba

Will these plants be affected by adding aquarium salts? The recommended dosage is 1 tsp. for every 5 gal. What dosage would be best? Cory_Di made a cool sudgestion for slow releases of salt.

Any tips for weighing down small stemmed propagated plants? I have some large plant weights made by Lee's, but they won't wrap around the base of the small ones.

Thanks ahead of time!

Actually the plants that you are mentioning won't mind the salt, i would keep it at half the dose just in case and see how they react. but i don't think you'll have any problems.

I use the normal salt dosage on my betta bowls which have Hygrophila and they don't seem to mind at all.

Good Luck
