most of those snail "cures" that i've seen do harm to plants. make sure you check the label to find out for sure, but to me, the best way to get rid of snails is still a few pennies in the filter until they're all gone

I wouldn't try it...

I've heard bad things about HadaSnail. Like moonie said, all snail treatments tend to do is harm plants. Half the time they don't even get rid of the snails.

The best way to do it if you can't get snail eating fish (dwarf puffers, clown loaches, etc.) would be the pennies in the filter trick. Just make sure it's older pennies so they still have that copper in 'em.

What's the year again? 19?7

i put 8 in the filter of my 10g and within a few days all the adult snails were gone. and yes, for US pennies, 1982 was the year they switched to copper plated zinc, so you should try to use pennies made before 1982. i believe canadian pennies are still mostly copper though

I knew and old lady that had a snail. Well my budy is going to send me some apple snails to eat my little snails. Hopefully I can keep them in check and not end up with lots of big snails.
