Driftwood Thoughts | |
resle Enthusiast Posts: 273 Kudos: 112 Votes: 14 Registered: 09-Oct-2004 | hahahaha, u guys r to much! spending money on driftwood! ha! i found all mine either in my backyard or the nearby lake, they r all very excellent ive got 2 tree trunks and a curvy stick none of which were in water at anytime. IMO ur being to risky i just boil it for half an hour then stick it right in the tank, no problems. lets see its been 4 years since i put the wood in the tank so i think its fine |

rocker23 Hobbyist Posts: 105 Kudos: 70 Votes: 0 Registered: 23-Jun-2005 | i'm not an expert but this is what i did with driftwood i found in the lakes and beaches. i boil hot water and pour it on the driftwood to disinfect it as much as i can without ruining the wood, small peices i just boil directly for 5 mins. nothing bad has happened to my tank so i think it works |
