The fish that caused the most problems and eventually death of both the hairgrass and microswords was the farlowella. He loved to push his nose right down to the roots and then wiggle his entire 7" body through it. The cories swam through it sometimes but never did much damage and the pleco mostly skimmed over the top on his way to the driftwood or areas of the tank without any substrate cover. The farlowella is also causing a few problems with my 4 leaf clover as well but it's a bit tougher and so far still doing fine. |
