	Fastest Growing Plant?

It's definitely the fastest growing plant in my tank, and I have ludwigia repens, bacopa, and rotala rotundifola. It easily grows twice as fast as any of those. I've had wisteria and water sprite, and they didn't grow as fast either. I also think it's one of the best looking fast growers. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients

Sometimes I trim off the bottoms and and replant the tops if it doesn't look good towards the bottom anymore. CO2 has a visible effect on the health of this plant IME, but tends to get raggety when there aren't enough ferts for the speed of it's growth. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients

bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004	I agree with Babel. Generally the fastest I've seen is Water Sprite. But I've had Rotala in low light that grew inches every day. I assume it was stretching for the light. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.
