Solely based on price and availability, I've used this for about a year. Nothing spectacular, but it doesn't eat away at my wallet.

Tropica Master Grow. The first time I bought it was because it was Tropica and I guessed it would be good. It is. Plants grow, but (usually) not algae.

Most folks use Flourish and TMG.
But CMS plantex is quite popular and is certainly the cheapest stuff for traces.

www.gregwatson.com sells it for dirt as well as KNO3 and KH2PO4, K2SO4.

SeaChem Equilibrium is great for adding GH and K+.

Tropica Master Grow.

I like the fact that it has a bit of Potassium in it, which most other liquids are missing.

I've tried others but the TMG seems the best. Never had an algae issue using it even though I now use almost twice the recommended dosage.

Seems to give the plants an extra sheen that others don't.

Tropica Master Grow

I've used this , Sera Florina, and Seachem Flourish. I seem to get more consistant results with TMG than the others over the years.

Flourish, because it was recommended to me here when I first started keeping real plants.

I've had luck with it but after reading this poll I may check into others.

I have seachem florish...I dont think I like it though....usage seems to correspond with cyano outbreaks. If I use it at all it's with a srynge and injected under the substreate .
Otherwise I use a modified PMDD recipe....then again my tank isnt heavily planted .

Tropica Master Grow, and Azoo trace elements.

I agree with bensaf, after trying a few over the years TMG is the one that has worked better for me, nice balance and you don't need nothing else, not even root fertilizers. At least i never use them no more and my swords and crypts are happy and lush.

The fertilizer I use is called "Pond Plant Food" and its made by a local company called "The Aquarium Stuff Company" out of BC Canada.
I buy the pond plant stuff cuz it is identical to the "Aquarium Plant Food" but more concentrated. 1 tablespoon does 100 Gallons. It contains no nitrates or phosphates, so that is good, and it has a good level of trace minerals. This company's slogan is "The BEST STUFF ever!" and I tend to agree. I tried several other ferts, and still am using up my bottle of Flourish, but the Aquarium Stuff brand fert just seems to work that much better. I love it. Cheap too, only 11.99 Canadian for a 500ml bottle. I have been working on this bottle for over a year now and its barely dented. Great Stuff. Fellow Canadians- I highly reccomend it.
