As some of you know, my dear fish will eat anything that even looks green
Well, I finally found one plant that doesn't get eaten!
I got some water lettuce from a fellow tank keeper (4 meter, 845 gal. Central American tank )
The plants have been in for a week now and almost all of them are still there!

They even go after java fern .

They'll attack anything green.
Between the 12 of them (7 tinfoils, 5 spanner barbs), they'll eat 3 table spoons of peas per day (5 peas in one mouthfull ) aside from the regular flakes.

Did I hear anyone say they're self propelled garbage compactors?

You've gotta love them!

I kept tinfoil barbs several years ago and I agree with you that they will eat anything even resembling a plant of any type. Congrats on finding something they seem to not like.
