I would love to use this plant to start a ground cover. Is it as difficult or demanding as it seems? Will I need to invest in research and equipment for C02 or other?

I'm scaping my 20 and will be providing lighting. My base is part gravel, part smallish-medium river rocks and one section of large river rocks. My environment is well-suited for my platies and tetras.

Thanks!

Hi!
It IS a very difficult plant to keep, specially as a carpet, you will need high lighting and very fine substrate since the roots are tiny and it's very difficult to hold it down, also it sure needs CO2 for it to be lush and forma good carpet. Good news is that it's not impossible, if you set your mind to achieve it, you will, it will just take time patience and TLC

Now as for platies, i think (anyone correct me if i'm wrong), they like to nibble on plants, they won't harm them, but in the case of glosso, they will sure unroot it.
