I already have some Apongenta (I think its something like that) which I purchased @ walmart as bulbs & have grown rather nicely after 2 months, xcept for a few that never came out. Is there maybe another plant that can go good w/ tis one. as the ones I have are in a corner in the tank & I wanted to expand on plants. Also What should I use to help the plants grow. All very easy, do not require high lighting, and are usually inexpensive at the lfs. HTH.... There is always a bigger fish... |

While a slow grower, it does great if it's tied to driftwood or rock (it doesnt' like to be burried) and allowed to root itself. If you have enough light in the tank, 2+Watts per gallon (wpg), you can start adding CO2 which will increase its growth rate. ^_^ ![]() Current [link=Contest Rules]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Aquascaping/44382.html?200412022138" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] ![]() |

Bolbitis however can be quite a difficult plant. It grows very slow and takes a while to acclimatize to different tanks. My bolbitis is currently growing painfully slow! |

Sagitarias are hardy and really atractive, whatersprite or wisteria are also very afortable and can survive in low light enviroments, the leaves will loose some of their froked shape, but still have a wonderful shade of green. |
