girlunderrainbow![]() Big Fish Posts: 323 Kudos: 230 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Aug-2003 ![]() ![]() | I've got a 20 gal (long) planted tank that is having a good brown algae outbreak. Can't ad any fish right now until the Nitrates or Nitrites calm down a bit (forget which is high, but having tests done at LFS every few days). My Krib pair is waiting in my 125 gal till it's ok..right now I have some Pearl Gouramies and Cories that will be switching places with the Kribs. I'd like to get some good algae eaters..problably Ottos..any other suggestions? |

SAEs are wonderful, entertaining fish, but a 5" schooling fish doesn't really belong in the average 20. Besides, I've always found otos to be better with flat algae (flat mouth parts) and SAEs to be gifted with filamentous algae. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

And SAE's..I do see as being too big..although, don't think they'd be sucking on Kribs? Really thinking Ottos. No stringy algae yet (fingers crossed) |
