i bought these bulbs from walmart and i planted them in the tank. they started to root themselves and the leaves started to grow. 1 week ago i went to check on them and the leaves where eaten off. i have swordtails, platys, corys, drawf goruami. so i put them in a breeders net and now they are big the leaves are bigger and they are growing roots. i bought 2 algea eaters yesterday. will they eat the plants if i plant them in the tank? plz help!

what type of algae eaters?

common plecs can damage plants when they get about over 6 inches. if the leaves are being town apart it might be the groumi
