Well, as long as we're going with the fish, then I've got some suggestions. Get at least 15 panda cories. You'll be so glad you did. They're lots of fun, and even better in bigger groups. Then I'd get 25 harly rasboras/rummynose tetras/other good schooling fish. Four or Five bristlenose plecos, and 6 SAEs for any cleanup you need. For plants, we'd need to know how much light you have. They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces. |

Just general advice : with such a large tank reaching the substrate can be a bit tricky so avoid plants that need to be uprooted regularly. In other words keeps stem plants to a minimum. Yes you can trim them by cutting off the tops but eventually the bottom half becomes very ragged and needs to be replaced with the fresh tops. Doing a lot of this in a big tank can be a real pain. Lots of swords, crypts, grasses, ferns and anubias. Provided they are planted in a location that they wont outgrow you shouldn't need to pull them up during their life time. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |
