Hornwort is a floating plant that doesn't actually have a root system and doesn't need to be planted. Water wisteria will grow floating, but it does have a root system and does better planted....not sure actually on indian fern ![]() ^_^ ![]() |

Hornwort is a good floater but can be very messy. I've had quite a bit of luck floating water wisteria and water sprite as well. Never heard of indian fern. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

However i dont really want a floating plant and like you said it is messy because it is delicate. Would water wisteria be ok in 1.2 light? If not how much would it cost to upgrade to the medium light area? |

Just buy one, it will then take over the tank and form a jungle in no time.. It's a very easy plant, low requirement. The Amazon Nut... |
