I don't know what that is, but it looks AWFUL!

I'm thinking probably BGA as well, though, since it has that "slimy" look to it...

Here's a crop of algae growing on the gravel in the same tank...I'm not sure if it's the same kind of algae, but it looks similar...

I just dissassembled the tank, scrubbed it down, and reset it up

I'm not sure what the nitrate levels were (I lost the color card to the test), but I'm guessing they were around 0 ppm...the tank was heavily planted...
