ok its been a few weeks now and i noticed how my plans has shredded leaves that resembled caterpillar bites, and i found a cocoon in the leaves of some type of underwater caterpillar,
i opened the cocoon and it was. this is really weird

can someone explain me this

maybe caddis-fly larvae? i know they use plant material to camouflage their silk cocoons, so may have damaged your plant...but i don't know of any underwater 'caterpillar' equivalents, or at least herbivorous ones.
