Gang,

I am reworking my initial selection for my semi automatic CO2 system as I come to the conclusion that not
even one that is offered as a package has the parts that I desire. For more information on my selection and the
tank that it is intended for, [link=See Here]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Planted%20Aquaria/62580.html?200508031938" style="COLOR: #ff6633[/link].

During my latest research, I found the CO2 system (actually only the part that will be screwed onto the CO2
bottle) from BlueLine Products (see image below).

It comes with the following attributes:

Easy to read dual 1.5" gauges.
0 to 3500 PSI inlet pressure.
0 to 140 PSI low pressure gauge.
Durable, brass body resists corrosion.
Convenient regulator adjustment valve.
Needle valve allows for fine tuning.
Solenoid included to prevent CO2 overdoses during power outage, can also be used with a pH controller.
Built in bubble counter.
Includes 5ft of tubing.

Does it sound good to you?

I actually have an additional (showing that I am new to this CO2 stuff) question. How does this particular
bubble counter work? Do you add water into it? If so, wouldn’t this over time cause damage to the unit (or
at least the solenoid)?

Thanks in advance,

Ingo

PS: I would still get the PlantGuild Power Reactor, tubing, and (I guess I would have to) a check valve.

That regulator looks pretty good, where did you find it and how much was it? I'm in the market for a good regulatorthat's affordable.

The bubble counter needs to be filled about half/three quarters full of water so you can watch the bubbles come from the bottom of the counter. And no, it shouldn't cause any damage watsoever to the unit.
