Anyone know what it means if the top have of the new leaves that sprout on java ferns are semi-transparent.

Mine do this quite a bit, I'll often see little baby plantlets soon after....not sure if there is a connection though .

Your plant is happy and so it's reproducing. That's what they those leaves are -- new plants.

I think you guys misunderstood me. The leave that is produce is almost see through on the top portion of the leaf.

Yes that's exactly what mine do, they turn a translucent green. Transparent would mean they're 100% clear, translucent means that light shines easily thru.

that's how they grow, as the leaves grow, the tips are translucent.
