Do the leaves die off once the babies have detached? My baby plants are doing fine but the original plant is looking awful ... the leaves appear to be very ragged. Is this normal?

i guess so, mine were very ragged when i removed my J.F. babies, but they are all looking fine now, and are back to normal, with more little ones waiting to be removed
