Azn_Devil Big Fish Posts: 366 Kudos: 310 Votes: 5 Registered: 30-Apr-2004	well im not sure how it works, but it should help. as long as it releases CO2 into ur tank, it should help, but im not sure how much. the tablets probably release CO2 when they fizz, and the "factory" probably controls how much go into the tank..

Honestly I probably wouldn't recommend it for a 40 gallon because you'll need to use a TON of tablets to get a worthwhile amount of CO2 in there.... I'm actually converting mine to DIY yeast blend using the plumbing that came with that kit hooked up to 2 pop bottles with plain old yeast, water and sugar. Honestly for a 40 gallon tank you will probably want to go with multiple non-pressurized systems or just shell out the little bit extra and go pressurized. :88)
