hi guys

At the moment the light in my tank is = to 1.25 WPG but i want to put reflectors on it bringing up to 2.5 WPG. This aks the Q would the plants get hurt by this sudden change of light and also would plants like my ambias nana and java fern DIE, LIVE or DO BETTER please if u have done somthing like this or know a direct answer please please please post! thanks

The plants won't die. Low light plants will continue to grow and possibly grow even faster. I have anubias and java fern under 5wpg. You may end up with an algae bloom though until the plants adjust and start to grow faster.

ok thanks sham um so the low light plants will be fine
they just might suffer for a bit is all um i know a otto will eat algea but is there any thing that eats thread algea
