Light will be low at around 1 wpg, no co2, temp around 25, ph neutral. I will be using plants I already have including anubias, java fern and moss, crypts, amazon swords, elodea and ambulia. I am looking for a foreground plant that will stay small and cover the front of the tank. Was hoping for something like hair grass or chain swords, but I understand that they like more light than I can offer. Any suggestions? Cheers, |

I grew Ech. Tenellus - Pygmy Chain Sword - rather successfully at 1.4 wpg in my 29G, so you could try it in your tank. Maybe buy only one pot (or plant - if sold lose) and see how it does. Hope this helps a little, Ingo ![]() |

Easy enough to find these days. Not a plant I've tried personally so can't confirm. But I am willing to take Tropicas word for it. http://www.tropica.com/article_fullscreen.asp?type=aquaristic&id=621 Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |
