Nesaea pedicellata | |
clownloachfan Fish Addict Posts: 660 Kudos: 850 Votes: 115 Registered: 10-Oct-2003 | does anybody else keep this plant? I bought this plant a month ago for the moderate price of $4.50. I also bought some Rotala wallichii and Limnophelia aromatica. The Rotala wallichi is not really growing, its hanging on though. It looks the same since the day i got it. The L. aromatica was eaten up almost immediatly. As for the Nesaea pedicellata, it is doing surprisingly well. It has grown about an inch this past month. I know its not that much, but it is compact and of nice color. I assume that the plant will get pinker as it gets closer to the light. It is cuurently only 4 inches tall. Just curious, if this plant is so sensitive and light demanding, why is it growing in my tank with only 2.25 watts per gallon? I also do not have that much Co2, refer to my post in technical tinkering. Any personal experiences with this plant? |

I'd be glad to hear of others' experiences with this plant too! ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

I had good macros and micros going too. It would grow, but end up all crinkly and distorted. I'm just not sure what else the plant needed. Bensaf also told me that this plant was unforgiving in his experience. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |
