HOKESE Mega Fish Posts: 1105 Kudos: 478 Votes: 271 Registered: 22-Feb-2003 | hey guyswhen i used to live at my old place,my freind who lived accros the road, well his mum,was a brillant green thumb, and she gave my mate a outdoor plant, and said to him, that this plant can survive totaly submerged in water,so after hering this we decided to put it in his mixxed african tank, and to be honest,it thrived, with nothing,no fertilzers,no food tabs,it didnt effect the water parameters,as we kept a eye on this, plus cuase it was a good thick stemed hardy plant.nothing in the tank, ate it or trashed it,so after this,i put some in my sa mixed tank, and same thing,i even wrapped it around some dw,but the parts a wrapped around did start to die,but when i freed it back up,and let it choose its own way, boom, away it went,it did do better in my tank, but i did have a powergrow light, have any of you guys ever herd of this,or done it yourself, ill tank a drive back around there this weekend to see what it was called.... |

Pothos is a house plant, but aquarists have had success keeping it fully submerged. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
