I used to play paintball but I do not any more so now I have 2 Co2 tanks (9oz) (20oz) collecting dust in the basement. Would these work on a CO2 injection system?? I have read on this and all I read about was CO2 from welding shops so I am not sure if it would work. I am also unsure if 29 total oz is to small to support a system. This would be only for a 10 gallon which I am planning on completly rescaping in a few months. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was thinking of doing the same thing in my 29 gal (and somehow on a 5 gal nano system too) with co2 tanks...probably a 30oz tank tho

I know that it HAS been done, and CAN work, but ya need an adapter or something. That's 'bout all I know

I do know that it'd be a pain in the butt to run 2 cannisters on one system tho...have to buy more valves, adapters, etc...an' have to worry about having more places to leak

Thank you, I thought an adapter might be neccesary gotta research that. Also to clarify I wont run both at once but switch them out when they are close to empty.

Ok I did some more research on other forums and it sounds like the cost of adapters and other stuff make this cost nearly as much as a full blown CO2 injection with welders CO2. I dont know how acurate these other forums are does anyone have a difinitive anwser on this?
