But it depends on the plants. Thanks for your input as always, Shane http://thetanklog.blogspot.com/ - [ Thanks to ScottF ] http://www.natureaquariumclubofutah.com/main.html |

If you have any plants that are growing off a central stem or root then those need to be attached to a piece of DW or Rock and not buried in the gravel Thanks for your input as always, Shane http://thetanklog.blogspot.com/ - [ Thanks to ScottF ] http://www.natureaquariumclubofutah.com/main.html |

Removing the plants from the tube can be an experience though. Java Fern can be attached to a rock or wood. Just be sure not to bury the rizome in the substrate. Doing so will kill the plant. I have not tried any of the other plants. The amazon sword is a plant that can grow huge and is usually suitable for larger tanks. Beware that some of the grasses and (white ribbon) plants are not true aquatic plants. They will not thrive submersed in an aquarium for long. |

I did a Websearch for its Scientific name Selaginella Wildenowii And it is not an Aquatic plant. However there is some differences of opinion out there. So Be careful because of this I if I see any that I like from now on I am going to write down the Scientific Name go home do a search and maybe go back for it. How are yours doing BTW? mts.gif" border="0"> I vote do you? My Tanks at Photobucket |
