 | Planktonic Algae |
fishguy  Enthusiast Posts: 152 Kudos: 189 Votes: 8 Registered: 01-May-2004   | Ihave a 46g and with live plants and recently there has been a major outbreak of planktonic algae. I have done water changes and tried some algae killer. I dont have Co2 I have might lights off right now because of the algae, and I am feeding them very little. I need advise on how to get rid of the algae. | boil Enthusiast Posts: 201 Kudos: 420 Votes: 28 Registered: 19-Dec-2003 | Is that on the glass or all over? ok u can get a pleco, or a school of ottos would be better for smaller tanks for the inside., and then u can get a mag float the magnet on the inside of the glass and the outside of the glass and it works pretty good. what kind of filter do u have??
