Plant Bulbs? | |

I don't have the patience to wait until a reasonably sized plant sprouts from them. I know that there are quite a few different species of plants offered as bulbs, like the Aponogeton family. But I guess it all depends on your goals: If you want to have a tank full of plants and you prepare everything for them (like substrate and light) then you may run into algae issues if there is no utilization of the planted tank (like too much light and no nutrient uptake = algae). If all you want is to add one bulb to an existing scape then it may work just fine. Ingo |
