I've never posted in Planted Aquaria before. The description says for plant problems, but I figure this is the best place for my question regardless. I have a five gallon tank with two adult guppies, one baby, and one platy. I used to have several live plants in the tank, but after a massive die-off of all the previous tank inhabitants, for some reason it didn't occur to me to leave the light on. The plants died, but I'd like to add some live plants again along with the two silk in there, both for cover and fishy health.

So! Any opinions on what kind of plants to buy? Nothing too expensive, and something that can be bought at Petsmart or petco. (IE, It's going to be a longshot I can buy javamoss here) Thanks in advance!

anubias nana tied onto a piece of driftwood would work nice in a small tank. If you're unable to find java moss, not sure if you'll be able to find anubias nana. It can also be a bit on the expensive side aswell.
