I am starting a planted tank & I would like to know if I can add a couple of Peckoltia vittata or Panaque maccus. I have 4 of them but I don't know which species. Are these good for a planted tank or they might nibble up the plants?.

Thanks alot.

I know that Peckoltia are generally considered safe with plants.

I have had my clown pleco eat the stems of some of my plants in the past but it doesn't seem to do that any more now that I give it plenty of driftwood and algae wafers.
