Both these plants only need low lighting which i think you have. [span class="edited"][Edited by fish_dude 2004-07-01 17:15][/span] |

Should I worry about algae problems with Java, Anubias, or Crypts? [span class="edited"][Edited by sly 2004-07-01 18:09][/span] |

All of the leaves will die away and it looks like it si dead. Make sure you do not take it out though because they will come back. |

Also hornwort. If it's and established tank you don't have to worry about algae, adding plants doesn't mean you are adding algae, and you don't have to worry about ferts either since this will feed on the bioload of the tank. |

I've had luck with anacharis, swords, water sprite, moneywort, and water wisteria. Hornwort is easy and a good floater but IME can be quite messy. I'm waiting on a plant order and will be trying vals, sagittaria, and crypts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
