	Plants roots are acting strangley...
fishiedude Fish Addict Posts: 503 Kudos: 195 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Aug-2002	The pond section doesn't seem to get much activity so I decided to post this here. My water lettuce plants have been in my pond since early/mid july, and they were doing fine up until a few weeks ago. The roots started to float up to the surface of the water. Normally the roots hang straight down. What might be causing this? The pond is about 1,300 gallons with 6 small koi and 2 comet goldfish. It has been running since early July. Thanks in advance.

fishiedude Fish Addict Posts: 503 Kudos: 195 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Aug-2002	Yea that's kind of what I've been doing, just going and stirring them up so the roots sink, but I also just read that they would turn the yellowish color if they don't get enough nutrients so I'm going to try giving them a bath in some fertilizer.
