	Ramshorn Snails like Bananas

This snail didn't seem to really hurt my other plants, but complelely devoured a good size banana plant within a few days. I mean nothing was left. My Scapes

bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004	Simple. Banana plant is a Nymphoide closely related to the lotus plants. All these species have very thin soft leaves, kind of like tissue paper. Snails like soft plant tissue, that why they prefer rotting leaves on other plants. The soft Nymphea leaves are just like rotting plant matter. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.
